Karen Garrido is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background spanning medicine, nursing, and advanced practice care.

Originally from Colombia, Karen earned her medical degree and completed postgraduate training in General Surgery before continuing her healthcare career in the United States.

After relocating to the U.S., she continued her clinical education through nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse and later earning a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University.

At Alivio Medical Center, Karen provides family focused care with an emphasis on preventive medicine, patient education, health maintenance, and the management of acute and chronic conditions.
