Dr. Joseph W. Smedley is a psychologist and licensed mental health counselor with extensive experience in clinical psychology, behavioral health, education, organizational consulting, and mental wellness.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Roosevelt University and completed his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Howard University. He also completed advanced neuroscience training at the University of California, Irvine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Smedley has worked in clinical practice, higher education, government administration, and behavioral health consulting. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and as Chair of the Department of Psychology at Martin University.

His clinical interests include anxiety, ADHD, stress, anger management, career concerns, behavioral health, and mental wellness.
